Time and time again, I was consistently brought back to these products by their impact on my clients. They were popular and requested often, and I found myself working with and learning the Eminence line more than any other. While working in an Aveda-based salon, Eminence would send their reps for training every few months. During each training session, we would have the opportunity to try out new products.
During one session, I asked our trainer, Brian, what may help my own acne. He recommended the Facial Recovery Oil. While I initially protested (oil for acne, really?), I was amazed at the results just a week later. The oil changed my skin entirely, and I saw the difference I had been desperately searching for. This product is a HUGE reason why I have fallen in love with Eminence and why I have chosen to carry it exclusively in my own shop. I believe in this product and know that it can make that difference in a skin care routine.
Skin Mama: A Family-Based Company
Established in 2020, Skin Mama has been a family-based company from the start. I find there’s something special about the products we choose to bring into our homes and around our families. I have used Eminence throughout my first pregnancy, our IVF, and now my second pregnancy. The name “Skin Mama” stems from my favorite job: being a mama to our sweet little boy, Enzo. Our birth story was traumatic, and our first year with him was challenging. Shortly after he turned one, he was diagnosed with Ectodermal Dysplasia (WNT10A).
Ectodermal Dysplasias (ED) are a diverse group of genetic disorders that involve defects of the hair, nails, teeth, skin, and glands. It has no cure but needs support that will come with a high cost. His condition has encouraged us to help others and support them where we can. Our goal is to start a foundation where we can raise money to help other kids with his condition. By supporting us, you will in turn be supporting a cause close to our hearts, the ED community. To learn more about Ectodermal Dysplasias, visit the National Foundation of Ectodermal Dysplasias (NFED).
Something For Everyone
One of the things I love most about the Eminence line is that it has something for every skin concern. I’ve used it for my cystic acne, during pregnancy, and have its products on hand for my family. Eminence even has amazing products that can be used on kids! The Stone Crop Body Oil and Stone Crop Lotion are particularly great for kids and their sensitive skin. Whatever your skin care need, I feel confident there’s a product for you.
As your virtual esthetician, I’m here to welcome you to the Skin Mama family and to help you wherever you’re at. If, like me, you’ve been struggling for years with a specific skin care concern or if you’re just looking for a simple routine, there’s something here for you. All questions are welcome!
